Jenny Fanshaw: My passion for food started while I was a teenager overseas. I found my dream job working as a cook on camping tours travelling around Europe. This job opened my eyes to all the different cultures and food which was not seen in Australia. After returning to Australia, I settled down, married and had two gorgeous girls. I was a stay at home mum but still loved to cook, so worked part time for a catering company when I could. In 1986 my husband's work took us to Indonesia for a 5 year posting. As an expat it was exciting to explore the markets which were great for food, clothing and antiques. On my return to Australia I completed a course in Home Economics. This course opened up a career in recipe developing, food styling and food preparation in photography. I have now been freelancing as a Home Economist for the past 15 years and have been privileged to work with some of the best foodies in the industry. I have developed recipes for magazines, books, food products and cooking appliances.
